What's the use of wheelspacers?

The reason for installing wheelspacers on a 4x4 usually is to be able to fit bigger tyres. By increasing the trackwidth, wheelspacers give your vehicle a more stable ride. You also get a better looking car.

There is a downside: using wheelspacers will put more strain on the wheelbearings. If the wheelbearings are to be replaced prematurely due to installed wheelspacers, your warranty might be void.
